The Chamber encourages participation and relies on the expertise of members to guide the actions of the organization. Service on a committee is an important way for businesses to play a relevant leadership role, increase the value of membership and increase visibility among member businesses.

Their volunteer leadership and guidance help make the the Davis Chamber successful in activities and initiatives which benefit our membership and all of Yolo County.
Ambassador Committee Co-Chairs: Raul Zamora, Z1Properties, Kaylin Street, Tandem Properties Staff Liaison: Christina Blackman, email@example.com Meeting Time: 4:00 PM - 2nd Thursday of every month Chamber ambassadors serve as official hosts of most Chamber functions, including morning and evening mixers and special events. Ambassadors advocate Chamber membership by promoting public relations and goodwill between the Chamber and the community.
Government Relations Committee (GRC) Chair: Rob White, Sierra Energy Staff Liaison: Christina Blackman, firstname.lastname@example.org Meeting Time: 3:30 PM - 1st Wednesday of every month The Government Relations Committee is active in representing the voice of Davis business to our local government. This committee monitors and studies issues that are of interest to business and/or may affect the quality of life in our community. They then develop and recommend possible positions to the Chamber Board of Directors for further action.
Economic Development Committee Co Chairs: Ryan Sharp, UC Davis Venture Catalyst & Nahz Anvary, Cushman & Wakefield Staff Liaison: Christina Blackman, email@example.com Meeting Time: 2:30 PM - 3rd Wednesday of every month The EDC Committee will work collaboratively with the GRC, the City of Davis and the chamber leadership team to review and analyze projects and issues as well as identify and recommend strategies aimed at retaining existing business and attracting new business.

School / Business Partnership Committee Chair: Susan Kirby, Da Vinci Internship Coordinator, DJUSD Staff Liaison: Bobbi Vaughn, email@example.com Meeting Time: 2:00 PM - 2nd Thursday of every month The School/Business Partnership Committee works to serve as a link between local businesses and the school district, help ensure a skilled and educated workforce for the future, and recognize individuals in the educational system and the business community through scholarships.
Chamber BIC (also known as Chamber PAC) Chair: Gregg Herrinton, Yackzan Group Staff Liaison: Christina Blackman, firstname.lastname@example.org Meeting Time: TBD The Business Issues Committee (BIC) is a political action committee dedicated to improving the business climate in Davis. Participation and money donated will go towards the support or opposition of ballot measures that affect Davis businesses.
