Message from Incoming 2026 Board Chair, Rusty Seymour

It is hard to believe 2026 is right around the corner. As incoming Chair, I am honored to continue my involvement with the Davis Chamber of Commerce and to build upon the outstanding work of our outgoing Chair, Chad Carlock. His leadership, legal expertise, and dedication to nearly every event, social, ribbon cutting, and business walk this past year set a high standard for service.

Looking ahead, my focus will be on strengthening and growing our membership. Thanks to Bobbi and Carrie’s dedication, we’ve welcomed many new businesses while also re-engaging former members. The Business Walks, led by our Ambassadors and Board members, have been a simple yet powerful way to connect with local businesses — reminding them that we are here to listen, support, and champion their success.

This year we also enjoyed tremendous energy at our Monthly Socials and Ribbon Cuttings, which fostered valuable networking opportunities and a stronger sense of community. In 2026, I’m especially excited about two cornerstone events: the Jeremy Brooks Memorial Golf Tournament on April 20 and Celebrate Davis on May 15. Last year’s Celebrate Davis was our largest ever and featured Davis' first drone show — a truly memorable evening.

The Chamber’s mission is to serve local businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs by offering opportunities for growth, education, networking, and professional development. We are dedicated to promoting economic vitality and enhancing the quality of life in the Davis community. In my own work as a Financial Advisor, I’ve seen how smart financial planning, education, and goal-setting can provide stability and open doors for growth. I look forward to bringing that same perspective to the Chamber — helping our members strengthen their businesses, invest in their future, and contribute to a thriving Davis economy.

The Davis Chamber of Commerce is a Membership organization whose mission is to promote, support, and advocate the general economic vitality of its membership and the quality of life for the community. The core purposes of the Chamber are:
  • To help create a strong local economy
  • To promote the community

  • ​To represent the interests of business with local, county, and state Governments

The Chamber partners with several key groups throughout the year - the City of Davis on Economic Development, the Small Business Development Center on business resources and assessments, other Yolo County Chambers, Davis Joint Unified School District, UC Davis, Davis Downtown Business Association and Visit Yolo/Visit Davis on a variety of topics including students & graduations, events, and tourism that bring dollars into our community.

Chamber events come in all sizes from annual favorites like Celebrate Davis to seminars on human resources and everything in between, these events are meant to give our member businesses - YOU - the opportunity to build your brand in our community, establish new business connections, network with professionals, learn strategies for your business, and so much more.

Support our work with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Key focus for 2026 will Business needs assessment throughout Yolo County, in partnership with all Yolo County Chambers (Woodland, Winters and West Sacramento).

Conference Room Rental

The Chamber office has a small conference room that can comfortably fit up to 12 people. Included in room:
  • Small refrigerator
  • Smart TV with HDMI hookup
  • White Board
Usage during normal business hours, catering is permitted.

​The conference room is available for up to 2 hours for member a year at no cost. 
Early/later access to conference room may be possible for a small fee.


Conference room rental (after 2 hours use): $35 per hour

     2026 Annual Sponsorship Commitment Levels

    Membership & Base Level: (Based on # of Full Time Employees - FTE)

    Minor Events & Extras (use drop down to select your level for each)
    Once you have submitted your 2026 commitment form, Chamber staff will connect with you to schedule your social.
    You will need to confirm with Chamber staff when you would like your e-blast or video ad to be sent out and online. Blasts are sent Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only. Video ads will be place beginning on the first Monday of each month. Both blasts and video ads are on a first come, first served basis.
    You must call the Chamber office to reserve your specific hours. Conference room is reserved on a first come, first served basis.


    Primary Contact Information:
    Your continued support of the Davis Chamber through Annual Sponsorship is greatly appreciated.

    ​​Once you have submitted your form, Chamber Staff will email you a confirmation agreement including sponsorship levels and cost breakdown.
    ​After your review of the form we will email, simply sign and return to us as your final confirmation. 

    Chamber Staff will respond to your submission within 48 hours. ​
