The Davis Chamber of Commerce awards it highest honor to a business that exemplifies qualities of excellence, service, innovation and creativity in our community. Candidates for the award may be nominated by individuals, service organizations or a business.

Nominees must be Davis Chamber of Commerce Members to be considered. View list of current members here. 

Business of the Year Recipients is chosen from submitted nominations by the Chambers' Past Board Presidents, and is formally honored at the Installation Gala.

Judging Criteria:

• Current Davis Chamber Member (Full list of members at web.davischamber.com/search)
• Demonstration of creativity and innovation in business
• Demonstration of socially responsible and ethical business practices
• Ongoing support and promotion of the community
• Demonstrations of excellent customer service
• Actively engaged in the chamber

Attach Letter in support of Nominee: detailing the reason for the nomination and the nominee’s accomplishments and activities. Please be sure to address the judging criteria above. Letters of nomination should be less than 2 pages in length. Nominators are encouraged to format the letter with bullet points to call attention to the major accomplishments and factors being recognized.
