Having a world class university in our backyard, it is easy to assume that many local students go to UC Davis. Over 70% of students in the area attend other 4-year universities, community colleges, trade schools, career colleges and serve in the active military branches. In 1984, the Davis Chamber established its first scholarship through a $500 essay contest. Today the Chamber offers 2 -$1000 scholarships that are available to all seniors that currently attend high school in Davis and will pursue an educational path of some type after graduation.
In order to make this a sustainable effort, The Davis Chamber Scholarship Foundation was set up to reward our Davis students with funds to further their education. This program would not be possible without the generous donations from our community and business partners.
